The based on a true story thriller Deepwater Horizon has staked its claim on September 30, 2015 and is the first film to do so. As the name suggests, Deepwater Horizon chronicles the true events that occurred on the fated oil rig in 2010. Mark Wahlberg is set to star and JC Chandor (All is Lost) will direct.

And finally, Maps to the Stars has been tapped for a February 27, 2015 release date. The film, directed by David Cronenberg, chronicles the idiosyncratic tendencies of a Hollywood dynasty. Maps to the Stars features Robert Pattinson, John Cusack, and Julianne Moore.
